Puppy Lodging is a structured overnight experience for puppies five months and younger, with all-day Puppy Daycare included and quiet rest and overnight sleep in our dedicated Puppy Lounge accommodations.

Puppy Lounge accommodations are located in a dedicated area of our purpose-built facility, separate from the adult lodging suites. Each puppy receives an appropriately sized crate-style accommodation based on their size and training needs, giving them a quieter place to nap during the day and sleep overnight.

Puppy Lodging FAQs
What are the requirements for Puppy Lounge?
Puppies can begin using BARK U services as early as 10 weeks of age. We require Distemper and Bordetella vaccinations; Rabies is not required until a puppy is 16 weeks old. Puppy participation follows BARK U’s puppy attendance requirements, including puppy-specific exceptions for assessment and microchipping. Where will my puppy stay?
Every Puppy Lodging guest rests and sleeps in our Puppy Lounge accommodations, a dedicated lodging area for puppies five months and younger. Puppy Lounge is strategically located in its own area of our purpose-built facility rather than alongside the adult lodging suites, creating a quieter place for young puppies to nap during the day and settle in overnight. Each puppy receives an appropriately sized accommodation based on their size and training needs, and our team remains onsite 24 hours a day.
Do I provide my puppy’s food?
Yes. Please bring your puppy’s regular food so we can keep their diet consistent. Dry food should be pre-portioned into individual bags labeled with your puppy’s name. Wet food may be brought in its original packaging; simply tell us how much to serve at each meal. We also have freezer storage available when needed. If your puppy has allergies or food restrictions, let us know before the stay so our team can plan accordingly.
What if I don’t want my puppy to have a dessert?
Desserts are not mandatory, so we’ll skip and give your puppy some extra love and snuggles instead.
Do the late check in and early check out fees apply?
Standard lodging check-in, check-out, early-arrival, and late-departure policies apply to Puppy Lodging. Because times can vary by day of the week and during holidays, please use our Hours of Operation page for the current schedule and fee information.
Can I add any add-ons to my puppy’s stay?
Yes. Optional extras such as enrichment activities, photo packages, and grooming services can be added when you book. Every Puppy Lounge stay also includes 10% off a going-home bath, making it easy to have your puppy head home clean and comfortable after their stay.
How will I know my puppy is ok?
Our team is onsite 24 hours a day, so your puppy is never without attentive overnight care. If they need a potty break or a little extra reassurance during the night, someone is here to help. If this is your puppy’s first day playing at BARK U, you’ll receive a first-day report card. Additional report cards can be added to the stay, and current clients are always welcome to text us for a pup-date while their puppy is here.
What if my dog is already enrolled in the Puppy Start Right Program?
Puppies enrolled in Puppy Start Right can continue attending their scheduled training sessions while they are staying with us for Puppy Lodging. If a training day overlaps the lodging stay, our team will make sure your puppy attends as scheduled so their learning routine continues without interruption.
What are the puppy boarding check in and out times?
Puppy Lodging follows BARK U’s standard lodging check-in and check-out schedule. Because arrival, pickup, lobby, and holiday hours can change, please visit our Hours of Operation page for the current times before every stay.
What is the difference between Puppy Lounge and Puppy Lodge and Learn?
Puppy Lodging is BARK U’s overnight lodging service for young puppies, and Puppy Lounge is the dedicated accommodation where Puppy Lodging guests nap and sleep. Every Puppy Lodging stay includes age-appropriate care, supervised Puppy Daycare, enrichment, rest, and socialization.
Puppy Lodge & Learn includes that same overnight lodging experience plus structured trainer-led sessions focused on foundational skills, manners, confidence, and independence. The key difference is the added professional training built into Lodge & Learn.
