What To Know
Requirements
Requirements for Lodging & Daycare
- Dogs over 5 months must complete a Care & Playgroup Assessment prior to participating in daycare or group lodging
- All dogs must be microchipped. If your dog is not microchipped, we are happy to provide this service.
- Dogs must be up to date on all required vaccinations
NOTE: Puppies 5 months and younger are not required to complete a Care & Playgroup Assessment or be microchipped before getting started.
Requirements for Training & Grooming
- A Care & Playgroup Assessment is not required for grooming or training services, but clients must create an account through our Customer Portal
- Microchipping is not mandatory for grooming guests, but is available at a discounted rate during grooming appointments
Vaccination Requirements
Required Vaccinations
*BARK U is required by law to retain a current copy of your pet’s rabies certificate during their time with us. A rabies certificate includes the lot, batch or serial number. Without this information, we cannot accept any other proof of rabies vaccination.

Recommended Vaccinations
- Leptospira**
- Lyme Disease
- Canine Influenza
**Should be considered for all dogs based on increasing prevalence.
Spay and Neuter Requirements​
We do NOT require dogs to be spayed or neutered to utilize our services.
Eligibility and suitability is based on behavior and temperament, not reproductive status.
If a female is in season and needs to board with us. she will be placed in private care and play for an additional fee.
