Woof & Welcome Specialists

Booking Specialists are responsible for managing incoming booking inquiries, reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process for guests. Our front desk team plays a pivotal role in providing excellent customer service and maintaining efficient communication with guests and internal departments.

Canine Companions

Dog Handlers play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being, safety, and happiness of our canine guests. Responsibilities include escorting dogs safely throughout the facility during the check-in and check-out process, supervising their play during playtime, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Bark-tastic Beauticians

Our Groomers have extensive experience in dog grooming, a deep understanding of various breeds and coat types, and a passion for working with animals. Our Salon team is responsible for grooming dogs to the highest standards of cleanliness, health, and appearance.

Pup-ology Experts

Our CPDT-KA certified trainers foster positive behavior through structured training programs, utilizing their expertise in canine behavior and training techniques to educate both dogs and their owners. These programs address obedience, socialization, and overall well-being.

Dog Bathers provide essential bathing and grooming preparatory services for dogs, ensuring pets receive proper hygiene and care according to our grooming standards and client expectations.

Canine Commute Captains

Bus Drivers are responsible for safely and efficiently transporting dogs between their homes and BARK U. Drivers are responsible for escorting dogs to and from the van as well as interacting with their owners during pick up and drop off.

Paw-sitive Sanitation Specialists

Our custodians maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility, primarily in the client-facing areas of the facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, exceptional cleaning skills, and a friendly demeanor to interact with clients and staff.

Grooming apprenticeship

Apprentice Programs

The BARK U Apprenticeship Program provides aspiring dog groomers with hands-on experience and comprehensive training.

Participants will assist in relevant activities with a variety of dogs, learn effective dog handling techniques, and prepare for any relevant certification/exam. The apprenticeship program typically lasts for 6 months, during which participants will gain valuable experience and knowledge in dog grooming. Contingencies and terms of the apprenticeship program apply, including program duration, ongoing employment, certification materials, and exam preparation support.
