Puppy Lodging FAQs
What are the requirements for Puppy Lounge?
 For your puppy to stay with us, they’ll need to meet the following requirements:
- Up-to-date vaccinations, including Distemper, Parvo. Rabies is not required until 16 weeks of age.
- Your puppy must be microchipped if over 5 months of age.
- Puppies must be at least 10 weeks old and have completed their first round of vaccines.
Do I provide my puppy’s food?
Yes. We ask that you bring your puppy’s food in pre-portioned bags to keep their mealtime routine consistent and stress-free. It makes things easier for your pup and our team!
What if I don’t want my puppy to have a dessert?
Desserts are not mandatory, so we’ll skip and give your puppy some extra love and snuggles instead.
Do the late check in and early check out fees apply?
Yes, they apply just like with our other boarding options.
Can I add any add-ons to my puppy’s stay?
Of course! You can add fun extras like enrichment activities, photo packages, and grooming services. Simply select these options when you’re booking your reservation to customize your puppy’s stay!
How will I know my puppy is ok?
We have staff onsite 24/7, so your puppy is never alone!
If this is your puppy’s first time playing at BARK U, you’ll receive a “first day” report card to see how much fun they’re having! Additional report cards can also be added to your pup’s stay.
You can also text us anytime for a ‘pup-date’—we’re always happy to share how your pup is doing!
What if my dog is already enrolled in the Puppy Start Right Program?
No problem at all! We’re happy to board them in our Puppy Lounge. If their boarding stay overlaps with their training days, they’ll still participate in their Puppy Start Right training sessions while they’re here. It’s a seamless experience for your pup!
Your dog will always be crate-free during playtime hours!
What are the puppy boarding check in and out times?
Puppy boarding check-in and check-out times are the same as our standard boarding.
Check-in for lodging is from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM on weekdays and from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on weekends. If you drop off your dog before 3:00 PM on weekdays or before 2:00 PM on weekends, an early arrival fee will apply.
For pick-ups, weekday hours are from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM, and weekend hours are from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Please note that dogs picked up after 10:00 AM will incur a $25 late departure fee.
What is the difference between Puppy Lounge and Puppy Lodge and Learn?
Puppy Lodging in the Puppy Lounge provides young puppies with a safe, nurturing place to stay, complete with age-appropriate care, group play, and socialization.
Puppy Lodge & Learn includes that same premium lodging experience while adding structured, trainer-led sessions designed to build foundational skills, good manners, confidence, and independence.
Both programs include attentive care, group play, and socialization—the key difference is the added training included with Lodge & Learn.
