Preparing for Your Dog’s BARK U Bus Ride

Getting Ready
We’re so excited to have your pup hop aboard and join the fun on our bus! Riding with us makes their trip to daycare or lodging easy and stress-free, and we can’t wait to see those wagging tails.
Before their ride, here are a few important things to know:
- Submit Your Request on Time
- All bus ride requests (for daycare or lodging) must be submitted by the close of business the day before your reservation.
- Last-Minute Requests
- Same-day reservations that include bus service incur a $15 Route Adjustment Charge and are subject to availability. This fee does not apply if your dog was on the waitlist for that day and is added to the schedule.
Daycare & Grooming Reservation Confirmation Texts
- Morning Pick Up
- You’ll receive a confirmation text on the morning of your pup’s scheduled pickup to confirm their reservation for the day. If you don’t receive a text by 7:30 AM, please call us to verify your reservation. Additionally, you’ll receive a text approximately 20 minutes before the bus arrives.
- Afternoon Drop Off
- You’ll receive an afternoon confirmation of your pup’s scheduled drop-off. Additionally, you’ll get a text about 20 minutes before the bus arrives with your pup.
Lodging Reservation Confirmation Texts
- Morning Pick-Up/drop off
- If your dog is scheduled for a Morning Bus Pick-Up or Drop Off for lodging, you’ll receive a confirmation text on the morning of your pup’s scheduled service to confirm their reservation. If you don’t receive a text by 7:30 AM, please call us to verify your reservation. Additionally, you’ll receive a text approximately 20 minutes before the bus arrives.
- Afternoon Pick-Up/drop off:
- Afternoon bus pick-ups or drop offs follow the same process, but you should receive your confirmation text by 2:30 PM. If you don’t receive a text by then, please call us to confirm your reservation. You’ll also receive a text about 20 minutes before the bus arrives.
Lodging Stay: Pack & Prep for the Bus
- Ensure all necessary items (food, medications, etc.) are packed and labeled for your pup’s lodging stay.
- Double-check that any special instructions are noted in your reservation. You can do this by logging into your portal and confirming your reservation notes.
