What Makes Puppy Daycare Different
Playtime with Purpose
The BARK U Difference: A Well-Structured Day for Your Puppy
At BARK U, we provide a balanced day of activity, enrichment, and rest for your puppy. Play sessions are tailored to their size, temperament, and energy level, promoting positive socialization. Puppies are gently introduced to older dogs for healthy interactions. We also include breaks for naps, meals, and downtime to support key developmental milestones like potty training, relaxation, and self-regulation. Our structured routine ensures puppies stay happy, healthy, and well-prepared for the future. At BARK U, we guide them every step of the way!

Puppy Daycare FAQs
Can I check in on my puppy during the day?
While we don’t offer live cameras, you can always call or text our team for updates about your puppy’s day. We’re happy to share how they’re doing!
There’s also the option to add report cards and photos to your puppy’s daycare reservation as well.
Do you separate puppies from bigger dogs?
Yes, we organize playgroups based on size, age, and temperament to ensure all pups are safe and comfortable. While puppies are primarily grouped with others their own size, they may occasionally interact with older or larger dogs that have been specifically chosen by a trainer to help them get accustomed to dogs of all shapes and sizes. These adult dogs are carefully vetted to ensure they’re gentle, well-behaved, and a positive influence on your puppy. This experience helps your pup develop confidence and social skills in a safe, supervised environment.
Is there nap time?
Yes! Puppies need plenty of rest to recharge. We provide scheduled nap times in our puppies-only Puppy Lounge—a quiet, comfortable space where they can relax and rest up for more fun later in the day!
What should I bring for my puppy?
Please bring your puppy’s food if they’ll need lunch during their stay—and that’s it! We have plenty of toys and activities to keep them entertained while they’re here.
Does my puppy need to be vaccinated to attend daycare?
Yes, puppies must be up-to-date on vaccinations based on their age, including distemper/parvo (DAPP) and rabies (if they’re old enough). Please consult with your vet to ensure your puppy is up-to-date on the recommended shots.
Does my puppy need an assessment before joining daycare?
Nope! Assessments are not required for puppies under the age of 4 months to attend puppy daycare.
What happens if my puppy is shy or nervous?
Our team is experienced in working with shy and nervous puppies. We’ll take it slow, provide extra care, and help them build confidence at their own pace. BARK U puppy daycare is the perfect place for shy or nervous pups to become acclimated to new and unknown environments.
Will my puppy be supervised at all times?
Absolutely! Our trained BARK U Crew, including our expert trainers, monitor all playgroups and dog-to-dog interactions to ensure your puppy’s safety and well-being at all times. The trainers are actively involved in supervising play, guiding interactions, and making sure your puppy is having a positive and enriching experience while staying safe.
